AI Deal Map: Who's Partnering, Investing, and Acquiring

Every item in our continuously monitored AI-news stream is read by an LLM classifier that extracts explicit deals between two named organizations — a partnership, an investment, or an acquisition — as stated in the article. A deal is only recorded when the item actually asserts it; two companies merely mentioned together never create an edge. Deals are aggregated over a 45-day window into this map: each edge is one relationship, colored by its dominant type and thickened by how many news items evidence it; an edge carrying more than one type (e.g. a partnership that is also an investment) shows as “mixed.” Organizations that anchor at least 3 deals are drawn as boxed hubs.

Each deal is also connected to the use-case catalog: the news items behind it are linked to published deployment cases by embedding similarity, so a relationship can be cross-checked against publicly documented deployments — the “linked cases” count. Snapshots are kept per day, so newly detected deals are flagged (dashed edges) and the map builds its own history.
