BNB Chain reduces AI agent deployment to under 15 minutes with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore

BNB Chain built BNB Agent Studio on AWS using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to give developers a secure, managed runtime for AI agents. The platform helps developers deploy persistent, globally accessible on-chain agents that are no longer tied to a single machine. It also supports on-chain identity and payment capabilities for agents, which previously required specialist Web3 skills and lengthy manual setup.

  • 1Workflow automation
  • Deploying on-chain AI agents with identity and transaction capabilities previously required specialist Web3 skills and could take days or weeks.
  • The runtime needed to isolate each agent, scale automatically, and support different frameworks and models.
  • Developers struggled to turn local prototypes into stable, production-grade services for global users.
  • BNB Agent Studio uses Amazon Bedrock AgentCore as a secure managed runtime for AI agents.
  • Each agent is automatically isolated in a microVM, and developers can retain their own orchestration logic while packaging agents into a stable runtime.
  • The solution uses Amazon S3 for harness files, Amazon DynamoDB for agent identity data, Amazon CloudWatch for monitoring, and an AWS-generated Infrastructure-as-Code workflow aligned to security and least-privilege best practices.
  • Deployment time dropped from days or weeks to under 15 minutes.
  • More than 120,000 AI agents have been created across the BNB Chain ecosystem.
  • Compute is billed only when an agent is actively working, improving cost efficiency.
  • The platform enables persistent, ownable, transferable digital entities with global accessibility.
Architecture

BNB Agent Studio packages each agent and pushes it to Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime. Bedrock AgentCore provides the secure runtime boundary, including microVM isolation. Amazon S3 stores harness files for low-latency access, Amazon DynamoDB stores agent identity data, and Amazon CloudWatch monitors agent health. BNB Chain and AWS Generative AI Innovation Center co-engineered an Infrastructure-as-Code generator to automate environment setup according to least-privilege practices.
