How Infobip builds AIBuild, Buy & Compose — what they mean
Microsoft has collaborated with multiple organizations in the Adriatic region to unlock AI-driven transformation in public services, education, insurance, healthcare, finance, and mobility. The initiative included the deployment of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform, Security Copilot, and Microsoft Fabric. Zavarovalnica Triglav modernized customer service with automated solutions, while Paysafe improved operations with Microsoft Copilot. The Office for IT and e-Government in Serbia adopted Security Copilot, significantly reducing incident resolution times. The Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science equipped over 700,000 students with digital licenses, driving education modernization. Additional examples include LAQO’s digital insurance AI assistant developed with Infobip, Neuroblast's AI-powered neurorehabilitation devices, Verne’s use of Microsoft Fabric to integrate urban mobility data, and banks and healthcare providers streamlining workflows with Copilot. The program emphasized AI skilling, language localization, and infrastructure investments, with Microsoft supporting startups and AI talent development regionally. Localized AI and secure, resilient tech solutions are central to driving digital transformation and economic growth in the region.
LAQO, Croatia's first fully digital insurance provider, partnered with Infobip to implement an AI assistant named Pavle using Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service. The goal was to provide 24/7 customer support and streamline claims processing, particularly via WhatsApp Business Platform. The assistant was trained, fine-tuned for the Croatian language, and optimized to minimize hallucinations and ensure correct responses. Today, 30% of customer interactions are resolved automatically, with 90% handled within three to five messages. The solution has also reduced the workload of contact center agents by 10%, allowing staff to focus on complex cases and customer acquisition. The AI system processes claims within 24 hours when documentation is complete and future plans include expanding Pavle's capabilities to selling insurance policies and handling multimedia and multi-personality responses. This modernization is part of LAQO’s broader digital innovation strategy, aiming to humanize and simplify insurance for its customers.
