Mediacorp & SoftwareOne Success Story - AWS

Mediacorp needed accurate, cost-efficient automation for large-scale generative AI and multimodal metadata enrichment across millions of media assets. It also wanted better visibility into AI model performance, token cost, accuracy, and incident debugging.Mediacorp worked with SoftwareOne to build an observability layer for AI workloads on AWS, extending Amazon CloudWatch to track model accuracy, token consumption, latency, and cost. The solution used AWS Lambda, Amazon ECS, and Amazon Bedrock model selection and routing using CloudWatch metrics.

HIGHVOLT enabled fault prediction and reduced outages for power grid operators

HIGHVOLT, in partnership with SoftwareOne and leveraging Microsoft Azure, developed HiMON®, a monitoring system for underground extra-high voltage power cables critical to Germany's green energy transition. This solution uses special sensors to continuously monitor the operational status and quality of the cables, collecting vast volumes of sensor data. The data is processed in real time using Azure services, such as Azure IoT and Azure Kubernetes Service, to enable early and accurate identification of cable faults. While currently focused on real-time monitoring and fault localization, the architecture allows for future integration of AI-based predictive maintenance, aiming to predict faults before they occur and prevent outages. The comprehensive solution increases the reliability and availability of Germany's critical energy infrastructure while minimizing disruptions, downtime, and associated costs for transmission system operators.
